Ross Bennett began out of a pure passion for beautiful classic tailoring and a love of great menswear and suiting. Ross has been designing clothing for over 12 years and originally began as a custom women’s brand,  but after seeing a huge void in the suiting world, he decided to shift gears and began creating one of a kind pieces for discerning men and women around the world.

Ross believes that each individual has their own story to tell and guides clients to find the pieces that suit their needs rather than ever pushing fabrics or trends. Ross takes great pride in providing every client with a one of a kind experience that helps client’s to find their inner confidence and empowers them to create a personal style to last a lifetime.

After years acting as support to fashion brands such as Jessica Simpson, Nine West, William Rast, and Robert Rodriguez, I have always longed to start my own collection. I began pursuing this dream, little by little, with creating a few pieces on made-to-order sites. Fashion by Austin is the ideal platform to showcase my aesthetic of reinvented 1950s women’s apparel. The Christina Ward collection is an ode to bombshells featured in Italy’s Golden Era of film, specifically, Gina Lollobrigida and Sophia Loren. In short, sensuality married with a modern, minimalist sensibility. This is punctuated with the use of organza, fine linens and viscose.
My name is Mirandy Kim and I moved to Austin, TX about 2 years ago. I started learning fashion design Jan 2019 and worked with a local fashion design teacher to take private lessons and launched my first 3 look collection August 2019 for a model fashion show called #stigmafree fashion show that was used to bring awareness to mental illness. My collection was my first step into understanding sustainable fashion and my fabric was sourced from a warehouse in Dallas, TX that sold dead stock fabric. After that I started working on my 3 look collection for AFW. My journey has been to use dead stock fabric in Austin, TX where I sourced from a local sewing group, and getting all organic sustainably made cotton from a mill in CA and then using sustainable dyes. I am hoping to come to AFW 2020 as a new sustainable fashion designer and share wearable clothing line.
